Our social security system should be there for us all, especially when we need it most. But the UK government has proposed huge cuts to disabled people’s support which are going through Parliament now.
The UK government is listening and has made some major changes. All cuts to PIP are now set to be removed but deep cuts to Universal Credit still stand.
At the third reading on 9th July, your MP must vote against these remaining cuts to disabled people’s support. We have a short window of time to urge our MPs to change the bill to ensure disabled people are prevented from severe hardship ahead of their final vote next week.
